Oppenheim Architecture Basel office is looking for an Senior Interior Designer with an extensive experience (+10 yrs) in international high-end residential and hospitality projects. We are actively engaged in projects in Switzerland, the Mediterranean and other sites across Europe.

Oppenheim is located at Basel's Creative Hub - the Dreispitzareal where you will join a unique team of 40 people from over 20 nations and participate in extraordinary projects. With our office in Miami and within our multicultural team, we exchange ideas in English. Position Overview:
As an Interior Design Leader with 10 years of experience, you will act as the main point of contact among the project team. You will be responsible for leading our interior design projects from concept to completion. You will provide creative direction, mentorship, and guidance to our design team, ensuring the delivery of outstanding design solutions that reflect our clients' vision and brand identity. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with talented professionals, work on diverse projects around the globe, and make a significant impact within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage interior design projects, including conceptualization, space planning, material selection, and furniture specification.
• Provide creative direction and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project goals, and translate them into compelling design concepts.
• Develop detailed design documentation, including floor plans, elevations, and renderings, to communicate design intent effectively.
• Oversee the selection and procurement of furnishings, fixtures, and materials, ensuring quality, functionality, and budget compliance.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, resolve design issues, and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in interior design, and integrate them into our design approach.
• Uphold the highest standards of design excellence, innovation, and client satisfaction in all aspects of project delivery.
• Timeline Management: Efficiently manage project timelines to ensure timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
• Presentations: Create compelling and comprehensive presentations for clients, effectively communicating design concepts and progress.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in interior design, with a proven track record of leading successful projects.
• Strong creative vision and design sensibility, with a passion for creating exceptional interior spaces.
• High proficiency in design softwares
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Documentation in ArchiCAD will be required, as well as image making and presentation building according to office standards.
• EU/EFTA passport / Swiss work permit
